Question 784170: Am learning about quadratic & fraction sequences and am stuck on a question in homework.
Find nth term rule for following sequence
1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/9
I know you deal with the numerator & denominator separately so the numerator for the rule is 1, but I can't work out the sequence for the denominator. They look like square numbers except for the 2 so is it possible there is a mistake? It s a 5 part question and have done the other ones with no trouble.
Thanks
Vicky

Yes, maybe there is a mistake
Maybe the last term is 1/8 ??
