Question 772859: What are the next two terms in the sequence 1/8, 2/7,1/2, 4/5?
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20054)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/8, 2/7, 1/2, 4/5

Change the 1/2 to 3/6 and you have

1/8, 2/7, 3/6, 4/5, ___, ___

The numerators are going up from 1, and the
denominators are coming down from 8.

What are the next two numerators?
What are the next two denominators?

I won't answer, for I know you can now that you see the pattern.
But be sure to reduce the fraction if possible, like they did the
3/6 to 1/2.
