Question 762125: Find the sum to infinity of the Geometric progression with first term 3 and common ratio 1/2
Answer by ramkikk66(644) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If 'a' is the first term, and 'r' the common ratio of the GP,
the sum to infinity is given by the formula
Here, a = 3 and r = 1/2
Substitute in the above equation and you get S as 6.
Got it?
