for the first three numbers, each successive number is the sum of the previous number plus the addition of its lowest significant digit (41.45 + 0.5 = 41.5) (41.5 + 0.5 = 42)
For the next three numbers, the successive number is the previous number minus the previous lowest significant digit (18.23 - 0.03 = 18.2) (18.2 - 0.2 = 18)
So if the pattern is alternating between those two patterns, the next number would be (73.09 + 0.09 = 73.18)
If the pattern stays with subtraction, then 73 (73.09 - 0.09 = 73)
