I have encountered problem to do this question.
The angle of elevation of the top of a post from a point on level ground 38 m away its 33.23°. Find the height of the post.
Please help. Thanks a lot.

What is known?
First, the post makes a right angle with the ground
Then, if I were able to draw a straight line from the top of the post to
some other point on the ground, I would have a right triangle
The definition of the tangent of an angle is (opposite side) / (adjacent side)
h = height of pole in meters
so, tan 33.23 = h / 38
h = 38*tan 33.23
h = 38*.655
h = 24.895 m is height of pole
