Question 609435: How do I find the first term of the arithmetic sequence if a^4=16 and a^10=46?
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
there are 6 common differences between term 4 and term 10
the numerical difference between the terms is 30 (46 - 16)
so the common difference of the sequence is 5 (30 / 6)
term 1 is 3 common differences less than term 4
