I need to reapportion the percentage ownership of a property.
Owners holding 32% ownership are dropping out.
How do I find the new % ownership for those remaining?
:
Make assumption for calculating:
100 shares; 100 owners originally then 32 leave so have 68 who own the original 100 shares: 100/68 = 1.4706, we can say each of the remaining owner own 1.4706% of the property.
:
Check this: 1.4706% * 68 = 100%
