Question 342104: what are the patterns in these two sequences:
1/8, 2/7, 1/2, 4/5
and
360, 180, 120, 90
Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/8, 2/7, 1/2, 4/5
ADD 1 TO THE NUMERATOR & SUBTRACT 1 FROM THE DENOMINATOR.
1/8,2/7,3/6,4/5,5/4,6/3,7/2
and
360, 180, 120, 90,
SUBTRACT 1/2,1/3,1/4,1/5,1/6
360-1/2*360=360-180=180
180-1/3*180=180-60=120
120-1/4*120=120-30=90
90-1/5*90=90-18=72
72-1/6*72=72-12=60
