Question 304013: I read Question 303577: two consecutive odd integers whose sum is one less than twice the larger number

Answer by user_dude2008(1201) "impossible".
I tried the two odd numbers -1 and 1; they seem to work.

Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x+x+2=x+2-1
2x+2=x+1
x+1=0
x=-1
You are right.
Those negative numbers are often forgotten.
