here are the first five terms of a sequence:
8,11,14,17,20
a.find an expression,in terms of n, for the nth term of this sequence.
b.joan says the number 100 is a term of this sequence. joan is wrong. explain why.
I fully understand on how to do question a. but i found it a struggle to answer question b. i would appreciate it if you would help me. thank you.

since the difference (d) is 3; any term, minus the first term (8), must be evenly divisible by 3

100 - 8 = 92

92 / 3 = 30 2/3

so 100 is not a term
