What is the 20th term for this set of numbers? 12, 19,26, 33
Step 1. Look for a pattern. In this case the next number is 7 greater than the previous number.
Step 2. Here's a formula for this set of numbers:
so if n=1 then expression is 12 if n=2 then expression is 19.
Step 3. Let n=20, then
Step 4. ANSWER: The 20th term is 145
