: Hi i would like help on geometric Sequences.
The Question says Find the common ratio of a geometric sequence which has a first term of 5 and a sum to infinity of 6.
The sum to infinity equation is S"infinity"=(a)/(1-r)
so i changed the a to a 5 and made it equal to 6 so the equation was 6=(5)/(1-r) the answer is 1/6 but i keep getting 5/6 can you please help
Thanx
