First divide the 2nd term 150 by the 1st term 100 to get
Now divide the 3rd term 225 by the 2nd term 150 to get
Now divide the 4th term 337.5 by the 3rd term 225 to get
Now divide the 5th term 506.25 by the 4th term 337.5 to get
So if we pick any term and divide it by the previous term, we'll always get 1.5.
So the common ratio is 1.5
