What is the arithmetic mean (ordinary average) of the 73 successive positive integers, starting with 5?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The first number is 5;  the 73-th number in the sequence is  5 + 73 - 1 = 77.
The arithmetic mean of the first and the 73-th number is   =  = 41.
The arithmetic mean of all 73 successive positive integers starting from 5 is the same number of 41.    ANSWER
