the absolute value of sin(theta) can never be greater than absolute value of 1.
the possible values for the angles you are given would be.
sin(30) = 1/2
if the angle were in the second quarter, it would be equal to 180 minus 30 = 150
sin(45) = sqrt(2)/2
if the angle were in the second quarter, it would be equal to 180 minus 45 = 135.
it looks like you might have meant 1/2 rather than 12.
