Solving this problem has nothing to do with mathematics.

If in fact some logical pattern was used to produce the sequence, then finding that pattern is a pure guessing game -- it's not mathematics.

It is also very likely that there are many different logical patterns that will produce this (or any other) sequence of numbers.

It is also possible that the author of the problem simply wrote down a random sequence of integers.
