This sequence is the arithmetic progression with the first term    and the common difference  


     ,  ,  ,     and so on  till  2 .


There are 5 terms from    to  1, inclusive.


Then there are 6 terms from  1   to 2, inclusive.


Then there are 5 terms from  2   to  2 , inclusive.


Now, to answer the question, you need to add these quantities: 5, 6 and 5.
