There is no way to know "the" answer with only that information.

Since another tutor supplied a partial response, I will tell what I see here.

But, as I stated in my original response, this (and any other) "solution" is only a guess.

The actual letters and the coded letters appear to be "27-complements":
a(1) <--> z(26)
b(2) <--> y(25)
c(3) <--> x(24)
etc.

boy --> (2)(15)(25) --> (25)(12)(2) --> ylb

That would make

nmz --> (14)(13)(26) --> (13)(14)(1) --> mna

But "mna" is not a word; so this seemingly logical pattern doesn't appear to work.

What you are thinking or hoping is not very clear.
"boy" is made of three letters.
"ylb" shows the first and last letters reversed.
We might look for some relation between "o" and "l", the number-two positions in each of those expressions. We would only still be guessing.

Trying :
l,m,n,o
Three letters difference in the alphabet. If the same is applied upon "nmz", then you would find "p" for the position number two; for expression to have been "zpn". This seems to not form a sensible word.
