What is the common difference for the sequence :
4, 8/3, 16/9, 32/81, 64/6561
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This sequence is a GEOMETRIC SEQUENCE.
The term "common difference" is NOT APPLICABLE to geometric sequences.
It is applicable for ARITHMETIC SEQUENCES only.
For geometric sequences the term "common ratio" is used instead.
The common ratio, by the definition, is the ratio of a consecutive term to the current term.
It has the same value for any two consecutive terms of a geometric progression.
In you case, take the ratio of any two consecutive terms, for example, the ratio  = .
It is your answer.
