Question 81679: I have a figure of a rectangle, the measurement for the top is x/2x-5 and the measurement for the right side is 8/2x-5. I need to find the perimeter of the figure. My answer is x^2/4x-10 and 16/4x-10 am I right? or even close?

Could the formula possibly be 2(2x - 4) - 2x = 22 ???

Question 83209: My son has a homework problem which shows a picture of a 10x12 rectangle.
Question 1 asks what the area is? I believe its 120 square units.
Question 2 (im lost) Its says "can you name two other rectangles with the same area? Explain how you can prove that these two rectangles have the same area as the 10x12 rectangle? "

Question 95169: I have been trying this problem for three days now and still can not come up with anything. Please Help show me the light. I was asked to find two different rectangles with the same perimeter and the same area. Tried all kinds of different combos of numbers. I know sides of 0 will work, but that isn't a rectangle.
