Make width = x
Length = 10 + x
Perimeter of field = 100m
Perimeter = 2(Width) + 2(Length)
100 = 2(x) + 2(10 + x)
100 = 2x + 20 + 2x
Collect like terms
4x = 80
x = 20
Length of field = 30m
Width of field = 20m
