Let the width of the park be x
Then the length is 4x.
Perimeter of the rectangle=2(length+width)
2(5x)=12.5 km
10x=12.5
x=1.25
Width of the park=1.25 km
Length of the park=5 km
Area of the park=5*1.25=6.25 square kilometres
