Question 939337: The perimeter of a rectangle is 62ft if the width of the rectangle is 19ft what is the length of the rectangle?
Answer by srinivas.g(540)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
perimeter = 62 feet
width = 19 feet
perimeter = 2(length+width)
62 = 2(length+19)
divide with 2 on both sides

31= length+19
subtract 19 on both sides
31-19= length+19-19
12= length
Result: Length = 12 inches
