Answer by srinivas.g(540)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
perimeter = 30 feet
let width be x
length = 2x-3
formula : perimeter = 2(length+width)
30 = 2((2x-3)+x)
30 =2( 3x-3)
divide with 2 on both sides

15 =3x-3
add 3 on both sides
15+3 = 3x-3+3
18 = 3x
divide with 3 on both sides

6= x
result: width = 6 feet
length = 2*6-3 = 12-3 =9 feet
