Question 926726: well i was a bit confused on what to do on these problems since there wasnt any thing saying like if i should solve for x or simplify and so on so i decided to solve it the equation is -x-3x=16
i tried adding various numbers as x like 3 2 5 7 and so on but i cant get any to work out right they dont come out solved

-4x = 16
x = -4 (dividing both sides by -4)
