Question 909730: Find the dimensions of the rectangle if its length is four times the width and the perimeter is 60 cm.
Answer by JulietG(1812)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P = 2L + 2W
P = 60
L = 4W
60 = 2(4W) + 2W
60 = 8W + 2W
60 = 10W
Divide each side by 10
6 = W
If the width is 6, then the length is 24
24+24+6+6 = 60
