Question 895659: The length of a rectangle is 8 more than twice the width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 66 cm. , what are the measurements and area of the rectangle?
Answer by josgarithmetic(39617) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
w for width and L for length;
L=8+2w and 2w+2L=66; and the perimeter equation can be simplified before using, since is divisible by 2.
and just substitute for L.
and you know what to do now.....
