A lot is in the shape of a rectangle with a perimeter of 66 meters. The length is 4 meters less than twice the width. Find the length.
***
let x=width
2x-4=length
2(length+width)=perimeter
2(2x-4+x)=66
6x-8=66
6x=74
x=74/6=37/3
2x-4=(2*37/3)-4=74/3-4=74/3-12/3=62/3
length=62/3 meters
