The length of a rectangle is seven times it's width. The area of the rectangle is 567 square centimeters. Find the dimensions of the rectangle.
Answer by josgarithmetic(39625) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
w and L, width and length.
L=7w and wL=567.
w(7w)=567
7w^2=567
w^2=567/7
w^2=81
w=9 meaning that L=63.
