is decreased by 10%, the new area will be what times of old area?.
length is 20m and breadth is 10 m area =20x10=200 m^2
length is increased 20% means new length will be =20x1.2=24 m
breadth reduced 10% means new breadth will be = 10x0.9=9m
new area =24x9= 216 m^2
new area increased =216-200/200=8%
new area increase by 8% answer
