Question 883709: the length of a rectangular room is 2m more than twice the width. Find the dimensions if the perimeter of the room is 34m
Answer by Wutdana(2) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2(2x + 2) + 2x = 34
4x + 4 + 2x = 34
6x + 4 = 34
6x = 34 - 4
6x = 30
x = 30/6
x = 5
Length
= 2x + 2
= 2(5) + 2
= 10 + 2
= 12
Width
= x
= 5
