Hello,
So first we need to find the area of the yard which is simply length times width:
34 yards x 48 yards = 1632 square yards. Question 1.
Next,
we need to find the area of the coverage which is simply length times width:
1.41 feet x 1.03 feet = 1.4523 square feet. Question 2.
Lastly,
we need know that each additional foot increases the coverage by 10%, so 7 feet, which is only one additional foot, has 10% more coverage so that is the first part answer to question 3.
We take the coverage from 6 feet and multiply it by 10%:
1.4523 square feet x 10% = .14523 square feet.
So at 7 feet, the coverage is 1.4523 square feet + .14523 square feet = 1.59753 square feet of coverage.
Question 3.
I hope this helps!
