Question 872863: I' m in Year 8 and had a practice Mental Aritmetic Test yesterday and my CE is tomorrow. I wanted to know what the height of the rectangle was if the base was twice its size and the perimeter was 90cm?
Answer by psbhowmick(878)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2(Base + Height) = 90
Base + Height = 45

Given: Base = 2 x Height

2 x Height + Height = 45
3 x Height = 45
Height = 45/3 = 15

Hope this helps!
