Question 854721: If a rectangle has sides of 2x and 3x and an area of 24, what is the the perimeter of the rectangle?
Answer by Seutip(231)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area=lw
Therefore
A=(2x)(3x)
24=6x
x=4
Perimeter=2w+2l
P=2(2x)+2(3x)
P=4x+6x
P=10x
P=10(4)
P=40

Hope that helps!
