There are generally two types of means. One is arithmetic (you should think adding). The other is geometric (which usually implies multiplying). So, we need to multiply 275 * 11 = 3025. Now since we have 2 terms, we need to take the square root. Just to concrete the concept:
Say we had the geometric mean of 2,4,8. We'd multiply 2*4*8 = 64. Then we'd take the cube root since there are 3 numbers. Hence the cube root of 64 = 4 <-- which would be the geometric mean of this problem
