Question 802900: if i have 72 rectangles and each rectangle measures 4 by 2 what is the dimension of the room?
Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It depends on how the rectangles are placed. If they are placed end to end (short side to short side) all in a row, then the room is 4*72 by 2 = 288 by 2.

But if they are long side to long side all in a row, then the room is 2*72 by 4 = 144 by 4.

You can also arrange them in other ways.
