Question 800702: if a rectangles perimetermis 54cm and the length is twice the width. What is the area
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Width = x
Length = 2x
Perimeter = 2*width + 2*length
54 = 2*x + 2*2x
54 = 2x + 4x
6x = 54
x = 9cm
Width = 9 cm
Length = 18 cm
Hope this helps.
