Question 796841: if the perimeter of a rectangle is 52 ft and the width is 11 ft what is the length?
Answer by waynest(281) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
length (L) = 11
width = w
2W + 2(11) = 52
2w + 22 = 52
2w + 22 - 22 = 52 - 22
2w = 30
2w/2 = 30/2
w = 15
check:
2(15) + 2(11) = 52
30 + 22 = 52
52 = 52
