Question 764259: two rectangles A and B each have an area of 11cm2.the length of rectangle A is Xcm The length of rectangle B is (x+3)cm. find in terms of x an expression for the width of rectangle A and for B
Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area = Length * Width
Rectangle A:
11 = x* width
Therefore width = 11/x
Rectangle B
11 = (x + 3)* width
Therefore width = 11/x + 3
Hope this helps.
