Question 710593: find the area of a rectangle if the base is 16 cm and the perimeter is 60 cm
Answer by srinivas.g(540) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
base = 16 m
perimeter = 60 m
p = 2 (length +base)
60 = 2 *length + 2*base
60 = 2*length + 2*16
60 = 2*length +32
60 -32 = 2*length
28 = 2 *length
28/2 = 2/2 length
14 m = length
area = length *base
= 14*16
=224 m^2
