ans:-
let the width= x cm so length=x+5 cm
so area= x(x+5)=84 sq cm
or x^2+5x-84=0
or x^2+12x-7x-84=0
or x(x+12)-7(x+12)=0
or (x-7)(x+12)=0
or x=7 or -12 discarding -ve value x=7
so width is 7 cm & length=12 cm
