The width of a rectangle is 3cm less than 2/3 of its length 

The perimeter is 114cm. 

  2W + 2L = 

               4/3x -6 + 2x = 144

                 10/3x = 150

                     x = 150(3/10)

                     x = 45cm, the length.  the Width is 27cm  |||(2/3)45 - 3
