A rectangle has the lengh of both of its sides decreased by 20%. by what persent does the area decrease?
---------------
Each side is 80% = 0.8x what it was.
Area = 0.8L*0.8W = 0.64*Area
1 - 0.64 = 0.36
= 36% decrease
