Question 521221: Find the perimeter and area of a square with sides 5 1/2 inches.
Answer by oberobic(2304)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P = perimeter
P = 2(L+W)
L = length = 5 1/2 in.
W = width = 5 1/2 in.
P = 2(5 1/2 + 5 1/2) = 2(11) = 22 in.
.
A = area
A = L*W
A = (5 1/2)*(5 1/2) = (5.5)^2 = 30.25 sq. in.
.
