Question 495767: the perimeter of a rectangle is 60 ft. find its length and width if the length is 8 feet longer than the width
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
W = x
L = x + 8
2x + 2x + 16 = 60
4x = 44
x = 11 feet = W
11 + 8 = 19 feet= L
2(11) + 2(19) = 60 feet.
This does check.
