Question 478663: A 12 meter loading ramp covers9 meter of ground.how high does it rise?with solution.
Answer by mananth(16949) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You can solve using Pythagoras theorem
Hypotenuse = 12
distance on ground = 9
Height of ramp =h
12^2-9^2= h^2
144-81=h^2
h= sqrt(63)
h= sqrt(9*7)
h=3sqrt(7)
