The rectangle has a length of 60 cm and a width of 40 cm.
A=l*w
A=60*40
A=2400
The ratio of the area of the square to the rectangle is 1:6.
So the area of the square is 400 (2400/6).
The are of a square is s^2.
A=s^2
400=s^2
s=20
One side of the square is 20 cm.
P=4s
P=4(20)
P=80
Therefore, the perimeter of the square is 80 cm.
