Question 438794: My rectangle is 18 X 19.5, which equals 351. If I double the area to 702, what are the proportionate side measurements?
Answer by rwm(914)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
351 what?
702 what?
18 what?
19.5 what?
This problem is incomplete.
You could double either of the sides but not both.
so it could be 36*19.5 or 39*18
or many variations in between as represented by the line equation
18x+19.5y=702
