Hi,
Perimeter is the sum of the length of all sides of the rectangle. P = 2L + 2W
Let w be the width. Then the length would be (w-2)
2*w + 2(w-2)= 338m
4w - 4 = 338m
4w = 342m
w = 85.5m
length = (85.5m - 2) = 83.5m
checking our answer
2*85.5m + 2*83.5m = 338m
