The figure is made up of five identical squares. The area of the figure is 405cm.Find the perimeter of the figure.

squares have equal measurements of all 4 sides
the five squares are identical so they have equal areas

total area = 405 cm^2 (assuming 405 cm^2, there is no way an area can be 405 cm)
area of one square = 405/5 = 81 cm^2
9^2 = 81
the length of a side on each of the squares is 9 cm
4 sides * 9 cm/side = 36 cm = perimeter of one square
36 cm * 5 = 180 cm = perimeter of all 5 squares
